Surface Transportation Engineering

The USKH surface transportation division is a team of professionals dedicated to transportation and traffic engineering. We specialize in traffic operations, urban multi-lane facilities, and divided highway and interchange design. The scope of our work includes transportation planning, design studies, geometric design, signal and traffic control design, utility relocation agreements, traffic studies, construction inspection and administration.

Our Transportation Division also provides a wide range of transportation and traffic planning services. These projects include traffic impact studies, transportation plans, corridor plans, design studies, safety studies, transportation modeling, and public involvement. Our clients for these types of services have included State agencies, cities, counties, federal agencies, and private developers.  Our transportation planners and engineers are experienced with the latest analytical tools and methodologies; are skilled in public presentation and coordination; and are used to working with multiple jurisdictions and varying agency requirements.
