Hopkins Ridge ALTA Survey

Surveying services were provided to Renewable Energy Systems America Development for ALTA surveys for the 50,000-acre Hopkins Ridge wind generator project located in Columbia County in south central Washington.  Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the project included dependent resurveys, topographic surveys, extensive corner search and re-monumentation, and detailed ALTA and records-of-survey. Static, fast-static, and real time kinematic global positioning system surveys were performed, as well as traditional closed traverses.  Photogrammetric services were employed for two-thirds of the area to enhance topographic surveys performed by field crews.
