Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Field Maintenance Facility
Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Alaska
The Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport needed a secure, safe, and efficient area to conduct maintenance operations. The Field Maintenance Facility (FMF) was our answer to that need. Working with numerous user groups, the completed FMF includes 75,000-sf of vehicle maintenance and support shops, 40,000-sf of vehicle warm storage, petroleum, oil, and lubricant inventory and hazardous materials storage, and controlled access to all aircraft operations areas. Our multi-disciplined capabilities allowed us to provide many phases of the work concurrently, which resulted in cost and timesavings for our client.
