Denali Princess Lodge Projects Phase 8 and Phase 9 Expansion
Princess Tours, Denali National Park, Alaska

Alaska’s famed Denali National Park draws over 400,000 visitors a year, and the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge is the arrival and departure point for many of them. During the Phase 8 expansion, the principal additions were a new two-story, 74-unit guest building, and a new “signature” lodge that serves as the main arrival and departure center for the property.  Phase 9 expanded the campus onto a newly acquired property, perched on a steep slope facing the Nenana River canyon, and offering spectacular views, with a new Arrival/Departure Center and two additional guest buildings connected by a large elevated plaza overlooking the canyon. Near the Denali National Park and Preserve, the designs of both phases were intended to emphasize the natural beauty of their surroundings by using expansive timbers and a rustic décor.
