Tommy Moe Drive Storm Drain System
Wasilla, Alaska

This ambitious project in downtown Wasilla included the installation over 3,400 feet of 24-, 36-, and 42-inch pipe and a massive included a storm water treatment system that were routed through existing city streets with numerous utility conflicts. The design accommodated multi-seasonal use, and provides storm water control for much of downtown Wasilla. The pump station has four enourmous 110-hp submersible pumps with a combined capacity of 22,000 gpm and includes soft start control and pump function monitoring systems. In addition to the design, USKH provided Construction Administration for the project, which included permitting and Temporary construction Permit.
