USKH's General/Airports Division of the Civil Engineering Department is committed to providing the highest quality of civil engineering services for numerous types of projects including site development, airport runway rehabilitation and paving for both rural and urban airports, utilidor, utilities (sewer and water), ports and harbors, design/build, and construction administration / observation.
USKH's staff of 22 registered professional civil engineers, 13 civil engineers in training, and various support staff are well-equipped to address nearly any design situation.
Our work has included general site grading; runoff and storm drain channelization and treatment; site utilities including water, sanitary sewer, utilidors, storm drain, lift station, on-site waste water disposal, wells, and fire lines; parking; access and service roads; loading docks; landscaping buffers, permitting, and virtually all possible aspects of site development.
USKH is also experienced at civil design ancillary tasks including wetland and fish stream environmental permits, erosion control plans, storm water pollution prevention plans, ADA accessability, hazardous materials assessment and testing, agency coordination, and construction management.
