Job Description

You will be traveling throughout the state, operating survey total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner. You will be involved with equipment maintenance, and assisting the crew chief in all field-surveying duties to include survey computations, and the collection of survey data.

Minimum Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have completed basic surveying classes through an accredited college or university, and one year of Alaska field surveying experience is preferred. The ability to learn new techniques and technologies as they emerge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem solve are vital to this position. Travel and fieldwork is required. Knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2008, Softdesk, and MS Office software preferred.
