This position is required to complete administrative duties such as but not limited to supervision of staff; report writing and budget preparation. You will be responsible for residential and commercial development including but not limited to lot development; site planning; utility layout; roadway design; drainage design; agency meetings; public hearings. You will prepare design concepts and develop project plans and specifications. You will conduct design analysis for projects and conduct site visits/field investigations as required. You will oversee preparation of design documents. You will be responsible for successful completion of assigned projects and assign task(s) to other engineers or technicians. You will monitor projects for progress and budget. You will meet/correspond with clients to obtain direction and provide feedback. You will keep Department Head apprised of job process, status, and difficulties. The purpose of this position is to provide professional, technical day-to-day support, guidance, and input to other project team members and coordinate between departments and consultants when completing multi-discipline projects.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. - Civil Engineering; Registered Professional Engineer in Washington; experience in design and project management of civil and multi-discipline projects, including: Water/Sewer Systems, General Earthwork, Roads/Airfields, and building repair/alterations.
