Job Description

This position is to provide full CAD/Drafting support for Civil Engineering related projects.  Projects will be related to large and small utility systems, roadways, site plans, and airfield development (runways, taxiways, and aprons). The position will produce drawings, figures, and construction document sets from drawing libraries, redlines, and by working closely with civil engineers.  The development of skills to complete civil design tasks (alignments, profiles, earthwork quantities, etc.) is desired.  All CAD work will be done with latest versions of AutoCAD and Civil Design software.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a basic or general understanding of the civil engineering discipline. Must possess strong mathematical knowledge in the areas of geometry and trigonometry.  Must be computer software literate in the areas of general office software (Word, Excel, etc.), and understand graphical imagery.  Must have a minimum of 2 years CAD experience.  A working knowledge beyond basic CAD, and general drafting principals is required.  Must have working skills in AutoCAD 2006 or later.  Position requires good oral and written communication, team working, and organizational skills.
