Are you interested in joining a dynamic, hard working architectural team located in Lewiston, Idaho? USKH, a multidiscipline A/E firm, is looking for a talented lead designer with at least 5 years work experience in planning, designing, and administering projects through all phases.

At USKH our design process is truly collaborative - Architectural Designers work closely with Project Managers and are offered the opportunity to become Project Managers. We also look to our Designers to mentor architectural interns.

We are looking for creative architects with strong communication skills who are ready to grow both professionally and personally. You will have the opportunity to participate in large-scale projects as well as achieve recognition as an individual designer.

This position offers all the comforts of rural small town living, with the sophistication of an urban existence. The arts, the outdoors, the opportunity to work on projects ranging from rural schools, to aquatic and public facilities are all accessible through this position. Whether we are designing a new school or taking off early for a day of fishing, at USKH we like to have fun!

Responsibilities Include:

•  Designing small and medium-sized commercial/institutional projects

•  Preparing presentation drawings

•  Developing construction documents

•  Evaluating cost estimates

•  Assisting CA staff in reviewing submittal

•  Providing clarification during construction

•  Reviewing the work of other architects and CAD designers

•  Traveling the state as required by projects

•  BS or MS in Architecture from an accredited university

•  R.A. with the ability to become licensed in Idaho within one year of hire

•  NCARB preferred
